checklist of key elements:
- Use of bright and vibrant colours.
- Performative and narrative aspects.
- Interesting range of camera shots.
- Clear links to the two music videos analysed and to Michel Gondry.
- Two social groups eg. age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, social class.
- Some form of dancing.
- At least two different locations.
- Costume and makeup that fits with current fashion and style.
- Editing that is smooth and simple. this can include interesting shots but nothing too new or "strange" as this would fall into the alternative.
- Simple backgrounds of either bright colours or an outside location that doesn't distract from the performer.
